Oxford Blue – results delayed
The team at Oxford SC worked hard to make sure registration, launching, recovery and race management went as smoothly as possible. Our experience today showed that running 3 races in challenging conditions (for sailors and race team alike) in the 4.5 hours of daylight available from start time was achievable, but the same team then processing results was a challenge too far.
Apologies to those who waited and thanks for the patience and kind words from you all. With hindsight it would have been better to accept at an earlier point that an overnight processing of results was the best aim.
