Handicaps

Handicaps are the backbone of the SailJuice Winter Series, enabling boats as diverse as foiling Moths and Mirrors to compete fairly on the same racecourse.

Since 2013, the Great Lakes Group has developed handicaps specifically suited to the large inland waters on which SailJuice events are raced. The group also produces provisional handicaps for new boat designs, refining them as real-world race results and performance data become available.
