1. To mitigate the Covid risk the event will be limited to 100 participants. A waiting list will be maintained once the 100 participant limit has been reached. Please do not bring supporters on site, who are not sailing.
2. Hot food & drinks will be available and the club has invested in increased marquee space, providing two covered eating areas, in addition to the main club room. Changing rooms and showers will be available and competitors can choose how much time they spend indoors.
3. YDSC is requesting all participants to take a Lateral flow test, confirming negative, just prior to attending and to wear a face covering whilst inside the club and not eating.
4. Indoor queuing will be reduced as much as possible and participants will be required to confirm entry details online in the few days prior to the event. On arriving at YDSC, participants will only be required to collect a Tracker, Bow Number and meal option.
5. There will be plenty of ‘Beach space’ available at YDSC and participants are requested to spread out as much as possible.
6. A WhatsApp group will be set up for the ‘Brass Monkey 2021’ and this will be used to provide additional information, in addition to the Notice Board on the SailJuice web site.
7. The medical advice is changing daily and the YDSC & SailJuice Teams are reviewing the event regularly. Postponement of the event may become the best option.
